NO 1 Million Dollar Bills! Rex Omar Settles Copyright Issues With Zylofon Media
Creative arts powerhouse Zylofon Media and legendary highlife singer Rex Omar have put to rest their copyrights infringement differences concerning Zylofon Music artiste Obibini.
Obibini used a portion of the Rex Omar's song in his single 'Gogo woho' without proper approval and this he didn't like hence he sent a warning to Zylofon media with a 10 days ultimatum to respond or face him in court for 1 million dollar fine.
According to Ghpage, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has revealed in an interview that both parties have sat down and settled the issue amicably and Mr. Omar has accepted to let go of everything and no court action or whatsoever will be taken and also agreed to mentor artistes on the label.
"Rex Omar’s interest was not to bring the label into disrepute but as chairman of GHAMRO, it was to provide enlightenment on copyright-related matters," Arnold said.
