Aftermath #VGMAs2018: Lil shaker Blames "Obinim Sticker" For Not Winning The Best Rapper- See Screenshots
The Vodafone Ghana Music awards as usual always end with heated controversies and this year's is no different.
The 19th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards came off last Saturday 14th April 2018 at the Accra International Conference Center and the aftermath is full of controversies.
One category which raised the most controversy was the 'Vodafone song of the Year' which many people have rooted for 'one corner' hitmaker Patapaa as the legit winner but unfortunately, it has gone to Fancy Gadam.

'Best Rapper of the Year' category which was won by Sarkodie also got people talking. Per my observations people are saying with all due respect to Sarkodie, he's been a great rapper over the years but in the year under review, he's not done so much to have won the rapper of the year in VGMAs 2018.
Lil shaker who was also a nominee of the same category alongside his group mate Kojo Cue is not happy for not winning the best rapper of the year.
Few hours after the awards has been announced he took to tweeter to express his frustrations in such a hilarious manner than anger.
He tweeted at his co-nominee and group mate Kojo Cue by funnily alluding their loss to the trending "Obinim Sticker" miracle saga.
"Chale @Kojo_Cue be like the Obinim Sticker we buy be fake oo" he tweeted.
Personally, I think Sarkodie has done great all over the years, that's why he is always on my number one list of rappers in Ghana but this year he doesn't deserve to be the winner, it about time Charterhouse look beyond pedigree and encourage the upcoming youths whose raps are a force to reckon with. Lil Shaker and Kojo Cue or Teephlow should have won that category.
