"Patapaa Nearly Killed My Career" - Shatta Wale Confess

Dancehall giant Shatta Wale, has disclosed how insecure he felt when Patapaa took over the Ghanaian airwaves and the whole of Africa with his onetime hit song 'one corner'.

As stated by Shatta, Patapaa nearly killed his career and this has forced him to also release his "senseless" song 'Freedom'.

Speaking to Jerry Justice on Adom Fm, he said: "Let me confess today. Patapaa worried me a lot so he made me record the 'freedom' song. I wanted to give the song to him but i changed my plan later. I'm saying this and God knows am not lying. That is how smart i am."

"Patapaa's 'one corner' got me asking why God didn't bring the hit song to Accra but took it to Swedru. Tell Patapaa i love him but he nearly killed my career"
Patapaa, took Ghana by surprise when his song 'one corner' broke online with a very crazy dance. This song broke all the rules of music and got massive air play over 3 months, it crossed over to Nigeria, where no marriage or party could come to a successful end without 'one corner' gracing it.
